Holiday 2012 Wishlist: MAKEUP

Every season I like to shop online through all the new pretty things designers come out with and make a wish list of what I'd like to buy, so I thought for todays post I would share that with you all! :)

LORAC PRO PALETTE ($42 @ Sephora) -
I saw this on Sephora's website and added it to my Christmas List. I love neutral eyeshadow palettes as its what I end up wearing everyday. I only have one Lorac palette in my collection but I really like the eyeshadows in that palette. I like how it seems that a lot of the colors are matte finish as well as some shimmer ones, but none are too glittery and obnoxious. (Image from Sephora.com)

LORAC EYE CANDY FULL FACE COLLECTION ($59 @ Sephora) -
This collection of palettes comes with 6 different ones, 4 eyeshadow palettes, an eyeliner palette and a lip/cheek palette. On Black Friday, I saw the eyeshadow version at ULTA (with just the 4 eyeshadow palettes), and they looked like great colors for my eyes as well as ones I tend to use on an everyday basis. When I went back to get it, I couldn't find it :(, but I saw this one at Sephora with the addition of the eyeliners and lip/cheek tints. I'd love to pick this one up if I can before they all get sold out again! I also ADORE the cute chocolate bar packaging, seems great for the holidays! :) (image from Sephora.com)

NARS Blush (Torrid) ($28 @ Sephora) -
Almost every season I end up buying the new NARS blush that comes out in their seasonal collections, however the blush in the Andy Worhol collection for the holidays is much too light and neutral for me and probably wouldn't even show up on my medium NC30 skin. I'd really like to try "Torrid" though, it is one of those blushes that I always end up looking at but never actually buy, and to keep my NARS blush a season tradition going, I may just have to pick it up this winter. ELF Studio Blush ($3 each @ Target & EyesLipsFace.com) -
I currently have 9 out of the 11 studio blushes from ELF, the only 2 I'm missing is "Berry Merry" and "Giddy Gold." Which is why I'm adding both to my holiday wish list! These shouldn't be too hard to get my hands on, it's just a matter of actually ordering from their website (I have a paying for shipping problem...so I'm gonna have to wait for a good coupon to come along), these blushes are comparable to NARS in my opinion and I would love to acquire all the Studio line from ELF at some point. NAKED Basics Palette ($27 @ UrbanDecay.com) -
I have both the original Naked Palette and the Naked 2 Palette, so naturally when a third rendition of it came out I HAVE to get it. I love how there's only 6 matte eyeshadows. I could keep it in my purse for touchups or have it as a great travel palette. Urban Decay shadows are great in my opinion too, the only downside to the original 2 Naked Palettes was that there wasn't enough matte colors. Now I can add six new matte shadows to my arsenal of Naked eyeshadows! :) (image from UrbanDecay.com)

Finally, theres a few boring makeup products that I need to pick up this season as replacements. My $12 bottle of MAC brush cleaner and a new mascara. Because mascara goes bad so quickly I don't really have a collection of those. I only have one or two at a time and buy new (like a normal person...) when they run out. I'm looking at either a tube of Maybelline (my favorite drugstore makeup brand) or a MAC mascara as I could use it in Back2Mac and I've never tried a MAC mascara before.

Hope you enjoyed this post you guys! Keep a look out for my Holiday 2012 Wish-Lists in Clothes, Nail Polish, and Apartment Decor! :)

NOTD: OPI "The World Is Not Enough"

I surprisingly didn't end up getting that much makeup and beauty related things on Black Friday (due to the amount of kitchen things...which we desperately needed...and movies that were on sale), though one thing that I did end up picking up was the beautiful shimmery nail polish from OPI's James Bond Holiday collection.

"The World is Not Enough" by OPI - James Bond Holiday 2012 Collection

I thought this color was so pretty and I love sparkly/shimmery colors for the holidays. I loved the bronzy/silvery color that it turned out being, it is like nothing I've had before. The formula is a bit thin, but becomes opaque after a few coats. I definitely recommend picking this up for the holiday season and I'm definitely getting more polishes from the new Bond collection! :)
